Oki C3300 all indicator lights on solid

Hi

Was wondering if anyone knows how to reset this machine?

When the machine is turned on, all 3 indicator lights come on and stay on. The fan starts and stays on.

Oki helpdesk told me to install the status monitor and connect via usb, done this and it tells me to power on the printer and connect up the usb cable. They reckon it could be the main board at fault.

Any suggestions most welcome!

The service manual says that the printer is in the process of shutting down for some reason. When the shutdown process is complete, the LED's should go off. When they stay on the most probable cause is a defective engine board. I don't think you can access the printer with the status monitor, because the printer is already off-line.

Could you let me know what it means if just the warning LED is on solid and the other 2 LED's off. . . ??

Could be a lot of things. Install the Status Monitor if the printer is on USB, or browse to the machine's webinterface (using the IP-adress).
