[Error Code] Oki C9300 Error code 142

Hello All ... first post here so ill get to the point.

I am running an Oki C9300 - I know its old but I need to print tabloid and a new tabloid color laser is expensive!! - and I am getting a error "Service Call 142 Fatal Error". Sometimes if I turn the machine off and back on the error goes away, but when I print the cyan is mis-aligned by approx 1/8 inch. Also, I have never changed the cyan drum (have replaced the toner numerous times but not the drum itself) and I have never replaced the transfer belt.

I don't mind changing either, or both if that will fix the error, but was hoping not to spend $500 on my uneducated guess.

Any help would be appreciated.

Fatal error 142 happen when magenta drum is not seated properly in the machine, if after that still doing the same thing check the springs where it connects to the machine for a loose connection. Next thing will be to use a replacement drum unit, if all this fails to fix the problem, try a new belt.
