    Samsung CLP-680N doesn't want to wake up from power save mode.

    Sorry if this has been asked before but did a quick search but couldn't find any info.

    Client has the aforementioned printer and it refuses to wake up when a print job is sent to it. He has to press the power button to wake the printer and then the job prints.

    I had a look throught the manual and I've set 'Wakeup Event' to 'ON' under 'System Set Up' in the menu but it hasn't made any difference.

    I searched on google and a lot of the info points towards network settings but this particular printer is hooked up via USB cable.

    Any ideas?

          Solved it.

          The machine wasn't in sleep mode, it was auto powering off after being in sleep for a while, hence the need to press the power button to get it to switch on and print.

          Serves me right for trusting what the client told me instead of checking for myself!!
