    [Error Code] MPC3502'SC 101

I am getting SC 101-00 when scanning using ARDF 3060. It is intermittent and the lamp cuts off just before error. I can copy off the glass without a problem. I have replaced the lamp, led PCB, and SIO PCB.

Start simple...then work your way in to PCB replacement.

....just a thought...have you updated the firmware?

    SC-101 Exposure lamp error

The peak white level is less than 64/255 digits (8 bits) when scanning
    the shading plate.

    -Standard white plate dirty
-Scanner mirror or scanner lens out of position or dirty
    -Exposure lamp defective
    -LED relay board defective
    -Exposure lamp connector defective

    1. Check and clean the scanner mirror(s) and scanner lens.
    2. Check and clean the shading plate.
    3. Replace the exposure lamp.
    4. Replace the LED relay board.
    5. Replace the scanner mirror(s) or scanner lens.

    Good Luck.

Try using the scanner function on the ADF with the side door open. If it works, it's the PTR assembly. Replace D089 4551 and D029 6316.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

Make sure the scanner slit glass is the correct orientation. The black film on the slit glass goes to the left. Seen this before

I have fixed this problem very easy:
remove the metal plates above the print boards in the scanner (exposure) unit.
They are situated at the right side in the scanner cavity.
          OK?
          Succes!
