[Misc] MP 305spf squeaking in the fuser.

I have a MP 305 that is squeaking in the fuser. I have replaced the fuser twice within 2k copies, and its squeaking again. has anyone have this issue? Is there anything way to fix it without replacing the fuser?

Are you sure it is in the fusing unit? I have had new PCU with the cleaning squeaking against the drum.

try the fuser(s) in another machine to make sure.

odds that 2 new fusers have the same problem.

usually just the claws squeaking. put a touch of silicon oil on the tips and it rarely comes back. Not so much oil that it goes on copies. Just enough to stop the squeak.

                Hi there!
The only series squeaking with the fingers was KIR. Never had this issue with the GRIFFINS. Is there genuine toner in the machine????
                Greetings...

Not used to the series names but the model that has been the claw squeaker in my experience is the little black and white 305+.If the thread was about the little color C305, I apologize.

Not so much in the states...Use the series numbers more than series names.

Very true, not too common in the US, it always just makes it very confusing when people start talking names of machines.

Originally they were mostly used by Ricoh direct operations. They started out as design engineering project code names and were supposed to be corporate confidential. Engineering code names are the use of "The Manhattan Project" to refer to the development of the atomic bomb.
