Trouble with Firmware Update Tool and MP301/IM350/MPC307

I do have a zoo of several Ricoh machines and try to keep them updated with the Firmware Update Tool. This works quite well and most of the printers are happy.

Though I have four machines where the Firmware Update Tool says: "A new vesion has been released".
Then I'll start the update process and it finishes with "Latest".

But when I'll do a "Retrieve Information" again, it'll tell me those machines are not up to date again.

It's an Aficio MP 301, two IM 350 and one MP C307.

I have the feeling, this kind of problem just occurs with "small" machines, IMC2000 oder MPC3003 won't show this kind of behaviour.

Anyone else with the same problem? Were you able to solve it?
Is there a way to contact Ricoh support directly for this kind of stuff?

    Thanks
    Tom

Are you using the latest version of the tool for the specific model?
    MP 301 Ver. 1.34 released 9/26/2024
    MPC 307 Ver. 16.05 Released 1/16/2024
    IM 305 Ver. 1.10 Released 10/26/2024
Wrong version may not recognize the proper latest firmware correctly.

Sorry, but the versions you wrote are the firmware versions of the prinets NOT the Update tool istself. The updatetool itself is 1.9.3 and is the same for all models.
And you can't run older update tool versions, it checks that when starting and you have to update it.

What I listed are from the firmware tab of the drivers and software page for each model on Ricoh-USA. Remember, the firmware update tool is primary for end users, not Ricoh technicians.

Sometimes you need to update the firmware manually by SD first, then you'll find the tool will work.
