    [Error Code] Ricoh MP201

    Good morning to all.
    I would appreciate his help.
I have a problem with a Ricoh Mp201. There was a noise on the right door on the side of the fuser and it turned out to be the transfer roller gear. While testing, I closed and opened the door several times and one of those times I marked "remove the paper from the ADF" followed by "Error SC320 "
According to the manual I must change the polygonal laser motor and / or the BICU.
What would cause this failure, if it was okay at the time of checking?
    Thanks in advance.

Very common. Toner has built up in the bushings of the PTR and is causing it to not turn freely. As a result the teeth on the drive gear are jumping against the gear on the drum. Clean or replace the PTR.

Sc320 if I'm not mistaken when removing the toner housing it can give this code but sometimes even the motor with polygon mirror can fail.
