Repeated ghost text on ricoh mpc4503

    Hi Everyone,
    Hope this meets you well.
Having a customer mpc4503 that repeats images and texts after subsequent printing or copy. I don't know it's heater unit temperature is not heating up to the excepted frequency or if there's any system sp settings needed to do. Attached is the example to illustrate my point.

Fusing offset can occur if the fusing temperature is either too high or too low for the type and thickness of the paper. Each paper type has its own fusing temperature and they are listed in the SP portion of the service manual.

Since you are talking about printing make sure of the following:
      1. You are not using after market supplies
      2. In the PCL 6 print driver printing preferences, detailed settings tab, paper type is set for the weight of the paper you are using
      3. In User Tools or WIM make sure that the paper tray is set for Document/Command and not Machine.

If you do not have a service manual, get one

Toner and Fused Assy had been changed. Do u know this only happens when printing and copying on only plain paper, other paper type are ok. I think temperature is not heating up the paper

Is the weight in GSM of the plain paper the same as the other types of paper? If not, that is the problem.

Does it only appear with the black text, and not any other colours?

If so, it can also be faulty black drum, or wrong toner was used.

If it happens only on plain paper the tray settings are not correct. Try setting the paper weight to a higher weight.

If all else fails read the Service Manual!

If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it.

The thing is, on plain when test printing counter page it pills or double print, also when printing solid background pictures it also pills

I suffered this breakdown a few weeks ago, on an identical model.

In my case, I adjusted the tension of the Pressure Roller dampers and replaced it (when touched it felt too soft). It also coincided with the breakage of the motor that allows the oscillation of the shield that incorporates the Fusion Sleeve.
If this shield is not positioned correctly, it is a determining factor for the fixation of the toner on the paper, curiously normal white, 80gr. without affecting other types of paper. Curious anecdote.
"ALL WILL BE WELL" The battle cry that most inspires me to follow, from the DC's Comic character that I admire the most. And I feel satisfied with being better every day, and with using Gnu-Linux as my usual Operating System.Apologies for my English, it's not my mother tongue and I'm helping the translator.

How many pages did you print after changing the toner? I think you must perform at least 200 full bleed pages before the old toner is out of the system.

Besides I think this has been talked about before so there are just the susual suggestions:

                      - check paper thickness / settings
                      - clean thermopile element (if the the xxx3 series uses them, not shure tbh)
                      - bump the temps a little
                      - bring a fresh realm of a trusted paper brand and give it a try
