ScanRouter V2

Hi, cannot seem to get the software to transmit destination list to the Richo 2018d, it prints, however it will not view destination list...help???

when configuring scanrouter v2 lite/professional first install msde or sql server 7.0/2000(database engine) then scanrouter software, configure the machine AND pc(server).choose i/o device etc.

Try turning off any firewalls or antivirus programs, these will often block Scanrouter. It is also best to have the computer you have scanrouter running on and the 2018 set for a static IP address. If it starts working, then you will need to configure your firewall and A/V programs for Scanrouter program and port exceptions.

I've never heard of installing MSDE before installing Scanrouter.

You can read it on page 32 of the WICE training manual installing scanrouter v2 prof. and also applied this during my previous installations.
wherein the first step is to prepare the database engine.maybe you have a better understanding then please let us know also. tnx

I haven't installed Scanrouter Pro Before. None of our clients will pay for that when Scan to Email works. I was thinking just Scanrouter Lite. Which I've gotten to work every time except once on a Windows XP Machine.

what was the problem for scanrouter v2 lite installation in XP, could you please share to us, thank you sir.

Never did discover why one installation never worked. Assuming something to do with the PC. The MFP had the newest Firmware. The Router was Linksys and pretty new.
