Is it me or do these 2 printers seem to have no end of printing problems we have 5/6 accounts with over 10+ in each customer mostly schools running XP and 2007 office the sort of faults we seem to get are missing text box or pictures on all these printers i upgrade the firmware and advise to try diffrent drivers in most cases this will help with the problems is there any other tips anyone can offer to improve these problems

It may well be the application and not the MFd which is the issue.
Have a look at this: Shaded graphic objects may not print as expected in a 2007 Office program
As a workround try setting the graphics setting of the driver to raster. -
Use PCL5 on these machines. PCL6 causes tons of problems.It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
