I have a question. Our company is getting pitched on the above unit with Vacuum Feed. Something that Konica Minolta offers on their BizHub 1200. Are the two units comparable

KM BizHub 1200 and Ricoh 135EX

Not sure if someone neutral here would be open to opinion on these two units.

I don't have an opinion on the KM box but as a Ricoh pre-sales engineer on the production side of the house I can tell you that the 1357EX does not employ any kind of vacuum feed system. That said, the wide large capacity trays do have something called "FRR-CF air assist separation", which is basically an air-knife system that flutters the edges of the sheets to prevent double sheet feeds and a wider variety of media and it works quite well. Sorry my opinion's not quite neutral as I work for them but I always try to keep it real!
