[Misc] Black casting on all printouts - Ricoh CL7100

Hi.

I am getting sick of this machine!

the prints have now started to get a black cast over the full sheet this happens in both single sided and duplex runs - some times it seems that the page is clear only for it to appear a couple of pages later

Does any one have any suggestions other than to burn it!

I am an end user but I really dont mind getting into the guts of the machine if I need to!

It could be a number of things causing the problem probably developer unit related though.

Firstly are you using original Toner?

what are the chances that this will resolve the problem i am having?

My problem is I dont want to throw good money after bad! I dont mind spending the money on a new unit but I would be gutted to buy it and its still the same!


Is there a way I can temporally clean the developer unit I have to prove the root cause?

As you are a "End User" and not a tech I would get a Tech out to give you a Quote it could be that it also needs a Black PCU chances are the dev unit as KIlled that as well.
