    Aficio AP610n Multi feeding from tray 1

    Aficio AP610n, Kir P4, G116

    Hi
    I am getting a problem in one company with 30 of these printers that all multi feed from tray 1 only, trays 2 & 3 are fine.
    All feed tyres and friction pads are replaced at around 80k.
    I suspect the paper is the problem but thought I would ask before getting them to change.

      Yes, it probably is the paper but you might be able to overcome or reduce the problem by either replacing or moding the tray lift springs in the cassette.
      I have had to do that of some. There may be too much pressure on the stack.
