    MP C2500 SC995

I replaced the print card from an mp c2500 with one from a different machine, it fired up, then i switched the original print cards to the original machine. And now i am having a sc995 error code and it says that it is not the original controller board, but it is. So i tried reformatting the HDD with 5-853-001 and nothing is working. Still have the sc995 code, any suggestions?

GG shows this relating to your issue, but I don't have the TSB. Maybe someone else will weigh in on it for you:

      SC995

      [Cause]
      The IOB is faulty.
      [Resolution]
      Replace the IOB.
When using an IOB that you removed from another device, refer to the notes below.
      [IOB Replacement Notes]
      • The new service parts AT-C1a/C1b can be used in common
      • AT-C1a cannot be used with an IOB that AT-C1b is attached to
      • AT-C1b cannot be used with an IOB that AT-C1a is attached to

IF you only swapped the SD card over between MPC2500's it's probably a serial number mis-match.
