    What does this thread have to do with an HP 4000? Can't you see the thread is called HP 4345mfp???

    Good luck on that.

    I've got the parts manual enlarged to 800%, and the part you want is not numbered. It shows up in views of the internal engine parts (5 of 5). Plus, you'd have to remove the side frames, essentially building an MFP from scratch. It's the plastic centerpiece between the bed/transport mounted to the power supply, and the registration assembly. If you could get the part you couldn't afford to install it.

    It's time for a MacGuyver (aka "field engineering").
