    Ricoh mp7502 toner spill

    Hello friends!
I have a Ricoh mp7502 and it spills toner. I tried everything but I can't stop this. Especially in front of drum unit. I changed drum unit but nothing changed. Anybody help me please?

What volume? Clean everything. Replace all PM parts that are due. Check seals on dev unit and drum unit.

Since you said that you changed the drum unit makes me suspect that you might have meant to type MP C7502.

Easy fix, this base model has been around forever. Dirty ID sensor, clogged/dirty filters, an an improper developer set will cause what you are seeing. Obviously a worn drum and charge wire will also contribute to dusting and overtoning.

I agree. Full pm (300K kit at least which includes all filters, CRITICAL) P/N PMD131300K, vacuum down, check developer seals and change developer B0649640. Pay particular attention to the toner recycler unit on top of developer unit (toner hopper part), if it clogs up it will back up and cause it to spew toner out like this. At the very least take it apart and vacuum out. Good luck.

Since it is not in any PM kit it often gets ignored. The maintenance tables recommend replacement at 600k. Somewhere between 600K and 900K the Mylar flippers will come lose and the foam seal on top will start to disintegrate. When scheduling a PM check the part counter for it and if over or near 600K, order a new one.

whats the humidity like? I have a hell of a time getting my seg 5s to run clean in the winter in Minnesota. April-Oct they run fine but as soon as winter hits and furnaces are running and we are at 10-20% humidity these machines just don't run well, 50-60k before developer is shot and toner is all over like in the pictures. Noticed at accounts with <20% humidity it is not as bad of a issue.
