    Kyocera Ecosys M6526cdn image defects

Hi Guys, customer with KonMinoltas asked me a favour to see these 2 MFPs.
They both have image defects, lines on copy see attachments. Print samples are SEF and colored lines didn't appear always but on every few pages while black lines are on every copy.
Machine counts are 50k and 100k on machine with black lines/bands
I'm thinking that color lines machine has dirty DF glass and second one bad drum cleaning blade but wanted to hear from experienced.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated as normally I don't work on Kyocera brand.

Do these lines appear on prints or just copies?

All 4x drums are the same so you have 8x to help troubleshoot by swapping them around etc.

Black ones Yes. Color probably not although one of the clients tell me it does lines on print jobs also but I couldn't replicate them.
That is good stuff to know.

First image to me looks like a transfer belt issue and second looks like scan glass. You need to print out the test page on colors to get the best notion of whats going on

Belt would be an issue as I have no manual to read how to do adjustments etc after belt replacement.
I have read that dev/drums have life around 200k but what is transfer belt expected life? Do belt cleaning blades fail early?

Transfer belt assy is a common issue as so are the drums. If those are original parts I would definitely get a transfer belt, they have benn update a few times. The test page is in system menu/adjustments and maintenance/ service settings/test page. When you get to service setting you will have to log in to device. user: 2600 pass 2600

To me, the black issue looks like drum cleaning. Not sure about the second. Try these images:

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Defects gauge is in the Appendixes for the Kyocera machines. Should be under Trouble Shooting but it isn't.

I somehow read and actually like Kyo SM. One of the things that really impressed me is this gauge. Very visual. Liked test page green instead of weak yellow seen it in Xerox manuals also.
However cleaning blades have no repeating pattern. So does strange color rainbow.
