    T920 plotter

Customer called said they are getting a message on their printer "faulty communication with firmware server" they said they tried to install new firmware---not sure if it was the reason they tried that or is their problem after trying to do firmware update anybody have any idea what I should be looking at or where I should start---- they said it gets to about 94% then says that on the display I'm going to check the leds to see if that gives me any clue. any ideas would help thanks Courtney

    Re: T920 plotter

If I had to guess (which I'm usually doing) it's because their firewall is blocking the site HP uses to store the firmware. Manually update it (if you must) and disable the automatic firmware update.
