Hi All,
A customer ricoh mpc5503 yellow appears when colour pattern is printed, but printed or photocopy jobs, yellow disappears completely.
For example a job that has Red in it only Magenta appears. I have tried all I could know changing developer, opc drum, OEM toner, it seems not to work.
Does anyone knows what the issue is??

ok DID YOU CLEAN THE OPTICS AND CALIBRATE THE SCANNER?

if print is not showing what good would that do? are print pages blank?
did you run scanner calibration? I don't see how you could IF prints aren't good
By "did you run scanner calibration?" Phil means User Tools - Maintenance - Auto Color Calibration. In order for the Copy portion to run properly the optics (platen glass, lamp reflector, lens face and all mirrors) must be clean. any dust or toner haze will cause a bad read of the pattern. Run the Copy portion first. That will adjust the scanner circuitry. Then run all Print portion.
With all models this should be done anytime you have light copy or print. With the Cxx03 models Ricoh put out an internal information letter recommending that it also be done every time firmware is updated.
Calibration has been done using maintenance method. Colors are complete, but still disappear when copy or print.
try the bias roller in the ITB image transferbelt unit
for yellow.... of course
