Today in a joint FBI/ Dept of National intelligence news briefing the head of both agencies declared that Russia, China and Iran were actively trying to influence the US election.
They strongly urged both the media and voters to be on guard about the news they might hear before and after the election.

There is also some concern as to why these two officials are broadcasting this information now. DNI Radcliffe a Trump political appointee claims this dis-information attempt is designed to hurt Trump. It is not clear how that is when the dis-information is threatening Democratic voters from voting.

FBI, DOJ announce indictment against 8 Chinese operatives | Fox News
FBI Director Christopher Wray and Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers announced an indictment of eight Chinese operatives accused of taking part in a widespread campaign to intimidate and coerce dissidents around the world that have reached U.S. soil.
During a Wednesday news conference, Demers stated that the alleged acts were part of China's Operation Fox Hunt, which the Chinese government claims is an international anti-corruption campaign, but the U.S. believes to be a plot to target political opponents and critics.
DuCharme said that during that time, the Chinese government directed the defendants to engage in illegal activities to coerce a New Jersey resident identified as John Doe-1 to return to China to face charges.
“Rather than go through appropriate channels with the U.S. government," DuCharme said, they acted outside the law, engaging in "shockingly overt acts" that allegedly included harassing and conducting surveillance of John Doe-1's daughter.
At one point, one of the defendants and an unidentified co-conspirator allegedly placed a note on the door of Doe's home that said, "If you are willing to go back to the mainland and spend 10 years in prison, your wife and children will be all right. That’s the end of this matter!"
"The sad fact was that this is hardly an isolated incident," Wray said.
It was revealed today that DNI Radcliffe, a Trump appointee went off script in this week Press Conference and ad libbed that the Proud Boys were the source of the dis-information attacks on voters. There is no direct proof of that. Radcliffe is held in low esteem within the US intelligence community.
FBI warns of "imminent" ransomware attacks on hospital systems
FBI warns of "imminent" ransomware attacks on hospital systems - CBS News
Federal agencies warned that cybercriminals are unleashing a wave of data-scrambling extortion attempts against the U.S. healthcare system designed to lock up hospital information systems, which could hurt patient care just as nationwide cases of COVID-19 are spiking.
In a joint alert Wednesday, the FBI and two federal agencies warned that they had "credible information of an increased and imminent cybercrime threat to U.S. hospitals and healthcare providers." The alert said malicious groups are targeting the sector with attacks that produce "data theft and disruption of healthcare services."
The cyberattacks involve ransomware, which scrambles data into gibberish that can only be unlocked with software keys provided once targets pay up. Independent security experts say it has already hobbled at least five U.S. hospitals this week and could impact hundreds more
The offensive by a Russian-speaking criminal gang coincides with the U.S. presidential election, although there is no immediate indication they were motivated by anything but profit.
"We are experiencing the most significant cyber security threat we've ever seen in the United States," Charles Carmakal, chief technical officer of the cybersecurity firm Mandiant, said in a statement.
