RICOH SP 150 CE TOOL

Hello to everyone, a client brough to me a Ricoh SP 150W with a service call SC542 so this the first time i touch one of this machines, and i was reading the service manual, and it says to start the CE TOOL in order to reset the code.
So the question is where can i find that tool, i searched on my-ricoh site and in ricoh.com with no luck.

If it is one of the small low end usb connect models that Ricoh sells it would be on the driver disk that originally came with it. Or you can download it. SP 150w Downloads | Ricoh Global

You do have to fix the fusing unit problem first.

Thank you for your time, that was the first thing i downloaded, i didnt find it there, i wanted to make a troubled reset before i started to disasembled the machine, to check if the trouble returns.

True, true, so true................... but i managed to find that program and reset the sc code so the machine is fine now.

Thank you very much. I found it some russian websites:-)) But I learned my printer problem related chip, printer has toner but chip finished.

Are you using original toner? if you are, then there is a firmware update you will find it in the ricoh download drivers site.....

and using the CE TOOL you can upgrade the printer if i remember correctly the latest firmware has a problem fix with the toner add indication. Unfortunately i cant access anymore my-ricoh site to give you more information..... so good luck
