Have you had control box2 out of the machine?
I have found this can happen if it has been removed and upon installing it the contacts don't line up properly.
I have had to remove and reinstall them several times before they would work properly.
have you updated the firmware?
can you get into service mode to check the error log?
you gave us little info for us to help you, and frankly I don't like to play dentist and pull the info from you.
have you checked voltages going into and from the LVPS and HVPS?
do you hear motors spinning?
In my experience with these units if this happens its usually the Main Network Board. Remember to swap eeproms if you replace this board.
Thank You all for the responses, the machine never turns on so there is no way to get into service mode or update firmware. The fans do turn on but after a few seconds turn off. We are currently looking to get a hands on another similar model to swap the main power board and hopefully see if it fixes the issue.
Ill give an update soon
I would even try a SD card on that problem. Sounds as if it fails to boot properly.
I keep blank SD's because so many fail, and burn them myself.
Good luck!
SD card would be my first recommendation. Anytime a sharp machine has issues with the boot process and shows power with either a blinking light or an amber light it may be an issue with the boot process which is controlled by the SD card on older machines. Sata and eMMC on newer.
Unplug the HDD and see if you can force an E7-03. If not, SD would be the next thing, followed by MFP pwb.
If the unit has a fax kit attached, go right for the SD.
Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!
