    PB1050 Ricoh mpc305 - jams, firmware

    Hello,
Jams are an issue with this optional paper tray.
    MPC305 jamming from option tray
Firmware can solve this (i hope), but on my-ricoh the mpc305 firmware is not available.
Someone can provide me with this, please?

Not shure if FW is gonna help - most issues are related to improper paper handling, worn out paper stoppers/guides (look for edges on the side fence) and/or faulty sep pads (also look for edges).

    Thanks Gift!!!
With the new firmware it works better, but will still be jamming.
I have sticked an enveloppe (11 cm or 4,3" - 20 cm or 7,7" ) to the bottom plate underneath the paper feed roller.
The top flap of this envelope is underneath the paper feed roller (gives more pressure to the paper)
    And it works perfect!!!
I wish i could upload pictures here, but i can't, that is something Copytech needs to adjust, if you ask me.

Phil, yes i did follow those instructions. I have saved the link Gift have posted here. I will use this in the future.
I understand that Copyt. needs to reduce it's diskspace.
