    Go to Control panel, select "Programs & Features". On the top left, select "Turn Windows features on or off"
    Scroll down to "SMB 1.0/ File sharing support" and make sure it is ticked. Do a quick restart and hopefully you will be good to go.

    See if this doesnt sort your issue.

    I suspect this 4 year old issue has probably been resolved by now

    It's not really bad advice. I don't recommend, but it depends on the customer. That's why customers sign IT waivers.

    It will work this way.........

    The waivers protect you from bad things happening in case James Bond is spying on their network.
