Watch it, don't watch it. My level of caring one way or the other doesn't move the needle. I was simply pointing out the obvious.

Joe Biden is in California trying to defend Gay-Boy Newsome, and trying to blame the fires there on "climate change". What a fucking JOKE!!

    California "wildfires":
Environmentalists, climate alarmists, and mainstream media predictably blamed climate change for them.

But they’re wrong. Instead, Gary Maynard, an adjunct lecturer in “environmental sociology” who has taught at Santa Clara University and Sonoma State University in California, has been charged “with willfully setting the Ranch Fire in Lassen County on Saturday, and could face up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine on that count.”

According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Anderson, “Over the course of the last several weeks, Professor Maynard has set a series of fires in the vicinity of the Lassen National Forest and Shasta Trinity National Forest

-Western Wildfires Are Due to Arson and Stupidity, Not Climate Change

-Cal Fire arrested 44 arson suspects during first 4 months of 2021 - ABC 10

Don't let them fool you into thinking these fires were caused by anything other than arson.
Sure, the pictures and videos are scary, but "climate change" is not to blame. Instead, people with matches are to blame!

.. you seem to be intent on picking a fight. Few people still hang onto the old concept that climate change is not manmade and rapidly escalating out of control.

A large part of President Biden's $3.5T "Build Back Better" campaign is earmarked to slow down climate change that so regularly devastates large parts of the USA.

Biden says climate change causing severe weather is 'no longer subject to debate'

President Biden said that severe weather and wildfires that the country has seen in recent weeks is caused by man-made climate change, arguing that the point is settled.

"We know what the driver is, climate change. We know what's causing climate change, human activity," Biden said during an appearance at Colorado's National Renewable Energy Laboratory Tuesday. "This is no longer subject to debate."

President Biden warned that the problem of climate change was in dire need of being addressed, arguing that this was a "decisive decade" in the battle against the problem.

"We don't have a lot of time," Biden said. "We don't have much more than 10 years… for real. This is a decisive decade."

    Puh-Leez!
You can refer to my last post (added below) about the wildfires, which I'll admit, we're "man-made", but not "climate change". Maybe "man-made landscape change".
    The point is hardly settled.
Still plenty of debate and research to be done.

The fires here in California were not caused by "Global Warming" They were caused by Sparks and Non-existent forest management.

I read where a liberal college prof set at least one of those fires.

Department of Energy chief says ‘our hair should be on fire’ after summer of widespread climate disasters

    • Climate change became a personal event for a third of Americans this summer, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy Jennifer Granholm said on Wednesday.
    • “Our hair should be on fire,” Granholm said in an event for Climate Week NYC. “We have lived through a summer — we all have seen it — where nearly one in three Americans have lived through, now, a climate disaster.”
    • Urgent efforts to decarbonize global industries will be expensive and will ultimately create jobs, Granholm underscored on Wednesday.

Earlier this month, the Washington Post published its own analysis of federal disaster declarations, which showed almost a third of Americans live in a county that was affected by a weather disaster during a three month period. That includes the heat dome in the Northwest, flash floods, drought and wildfires.

Urgent efforts to decarbonize global industries will be expensive and will ultimately create jobs, Granholm underscored on Wednesday.

“By the end of this decade, the global market for clean energy and carbon reduction technologies is going to reach $23 trillion — at a minimum,” Granholm said. “And so we want to corner that market by building clean energy supply chains and solutions here, sourced in America with American labor.”

Those jobs would be located across the U.S. and would vary in required skillset, she said. The Department of Energy is also working to ensure those jobs would be represented by unions, Granholm said.

Granholm said the U.S. could see clean energy transition jobs opening up for engineers, maintenance workers, pipe fitters, plasterers, painters, plumbers, carpenters, bricklayers, boilermakers, autoworkers, ironworkers, linemen and journeymen.
Fossil fuel energy workers will have the opportunity to transition into clean energy jobs, too, she said.

“We believe that clean energy jobs that offer the chance to join a union are going to address that inequality issue,” Granholm said. “It is going to lift millions of families into the middle class.”

And work has to happen fast, she said.

“We had our biggest year last year with respect to installed gigawatts of wind and solar, but we’ve got to double, triple, quadruple that amount,” Granholm said. “So we can not rest, it is all about deployment and getting that clean energy on the grid.”
