They have concluded that Aphids have a direct link with ants, the ants use them as a host so you may have to look for ants near your garden. aphids and ants - Google Search

I checked for ants but there are none. Found them at the base of the parsley plant. Will go and have a good look at them again. The soap mix rinsed them off as far as I know, thanks for that. I have spiders and mantises around that should help some. Tiny little green ninja rope worms... The spin silk to rappel down from the leaves it they know you are on to them. Only the watercress noting else so far.

If you find these eat them. Centella aisatica or Indian pennywort. They work well in salads and soups and has a whole host of benefits.
Not sure if the grow in north-America.

Yes, it grows in North America, I believe that is aka "Dollar weed", it is plentiful here. I knew it was edible but I did not know all the benefits it has to offer. Thanks for the information, Allen. I am going to incorporate it more in my diet.
