    Xerox 700 stuck at startup sheet

    Hi, I am getting a 027-741 fault code. It connects to the fiery and it will scan, but it just stays with the startup page in the queue but will not print it. I can retrieve a scan but anything I send to print just hangs there. I resat all the wires and made sure to clean all the connections but no help. the Xerox tech came today and still didn't know what to do. Can anyone help? its a xerox 700

    re-install the fiery software & patches, new HDD (which will need software & patches installing)
    I had this with one of my customers a few days ago. \exactly the same issue.

    Hey I have the software on an ISO file on my computer but my fiery doesnt have a cd slot only usb slots... Do i need to get a keyboard and a monitor and how do you make that go on a usb?

    Hey I thought I replied to this but it is not showing up. I have an external without a cd drive. it just has usb slots, a monitor hookup etc. I have the file on an iso. Do you know how I would go about putting it on a flash drive and running it? Like is it some instructions out there somewhere?

    Hey jake new software installed and still have the same issue. xerox tech seems to thing its the software on the printer that needs to be reloaded, but doesn't have it.

    What version of software is now in the printer ?

    On machine configuration report you can see the machine software version.
    Fiery is bustled or standalone ?
    What number show the 700-006 nvm location ?
    Ask your xerox tech for all of these.
    I have several versions of dcp700 firmware.
