It's a memory overflow. The RAM on the machine is likely beginning to fail and can't clear itself so you get artifacts in jobs. Replacement may be difficult as this is a fifteen year old machine. Boards and electrical components that you can find will likely be used so it may be a better option to replace it with a newer machine if possible.

I have reformated the HDD as of yet but the issue has reappeared, so I am currently waiting for delivery of a new HDD from Hytech & I intend to clean the ram memory contacts & socket connecter on the print controller.

I will follow-up to share with everyone the out come of my efforts.

We are all capable of reading normally standard fonts, I guess...

The issue isn't the hard drive, it's the memory DIMM's. Cleaning them may get you by for a time, but likely they need to be replaced.

When I use to resell laptops and had memory stick issues I would clean the contacts with
a pencil erasure and the alcohol..............

Must be the RAM. And also try changing the settings of your printer driver to "start printing after last page is spooled"
