Does it feed the paper or does it just sit there?

Have you taken the front DF cover off to see if the slit glass cleaning motor is actually turning?

I'm pretty sure you can turn the cleaner off in service mode.

Are you getting a D-code?

Check to see if the white mylar is hung up on the opposite of the cleaning brush. You can turn it off, but it still rotates once before every job....pretty stupid if you ask me. Otherwise it rotates after every sheet......

yes it works just fine. It's just wearing out because it rotates so often I wil look but I do not think the white Mylar is in the way. Thanks

I had one giving me issues with that cleaning roller. I cut the belt off. Never had another issue. The 250/350 got along well without it.

I will head back out there in a day or two.. I thought about the belt deal. are you sure it wont trip a code by not timing the roller for turning?
that is pretty ingenious.. I just don't think you can turn it off completely.. but I would in a heartbeat if I could

No code, works great. Cut that bitch if you can't fix it, or just remove it.
