I wouldn't recommend it as it's likely to just create a mess.
Your supposed to replace them.

if you empty it take the see through window off and clean it so you do not get the waste toner full when replaced.

Thanks Guys
In the end I had to unscrew the clear plastic clip and empty it out. I wasn't expecting this to work , must of been a fluke , but it did :) . I have x2 new WTB arriving today so just needed a temp fix.

It's that almost all of the time. IT guys have tried and failed almost every time. Just clean the thing before you pop it back in.

Beginners luck , or I am just plain fabulous ;)
Yeah , I made sure I cleaned it and let it settle.
Thanks all x

When the customer doesn't have a spare I simply use the vacuum cleaner to empty it and the detection window.
no mess, ever.
I then empty the vacuum into a thick bag and toss it in their garbage and warn them its not happening again and to order a bottle.

ive completely removed the window section and covered the hole with duct tape once while waiting a day for a replacement to arrive
its not as messy and if its only for 2 days at most you will be fine

We just empty them. From the C250 all the way up to the e series. It is easy and saves a lot of money.
