There was a mod for the K iu to keep it in place correctly. If you reseat the IU before printing in the morning it would prove just that.

The IU in it was replaced not long ago for same issue so I'll look into that. Thanx

Also anyone know what special FW version is needed to turn off end of life message? I replaced the fuser with a refurb one KM sent but it never reset.

Goto service mode then counter then life. look for "new release" on top open the front door touch fuser then start button. No firmware required for fuser and transfer belt.

You meant probably C452.

C451 needs the firmware to enable SSW 51 and 55 to change HEX positions.

Gp1 should be the one

If this is the infamous developer spew due to poor HV contact (as mentioned, there is the metal mod, or wedge a wad of paper or something between the blue IU latch and the IU) beware that the dev with get on the yellow IU (and if its real bad into the other IUs and transfer belt).

I would try to not run it until you have the issue sorted out.
This issue was fixed with the c552/c652s.

For the IU message you also need to go to service mode and immediately press stop 0 c and change the IU stop setting in conjunction with the SPECIAL FW and switches already mentioned.
