Hi everyone,

Just wanted to check if there is a known issue with scanning to folder on Windows 10? as many of our customers are now having issues, especially on the older kit, C220 etc.
If so is there a fix for this?

Have you tried changing NTML v1 to v1/v2 in the smb client settings.

two things to check

1. Is the network home or work as public locks down file sharing

2. They must use a local account with a password.

Yarp changed NTML v1 to v1/v2.

Switched on file and printer sharing and Network Discovery for both Work & Public under advanced sharing settings.

There is no third party firewall, and even tried temporarily disabling windows firewall.

Even Created a Folder under Public user without the need of a password.

Isn't it to do with SMB 3.0 not being supported by copier. Try disabling SMB 3 on pc

Hi, don't know if this will help you, but I found the following.......and can now scan to Windows 10, using SMB on a Konica Minolta C280 in the workshop. I was looking for a fix for Ricoh MPC2800.....this also works!!!! But not on MPC2500!

SMB Scan to folder in Win 10 evaluation copy. - Microsoft Community (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/insider_wintp-insider_devices/smb-scan-to-folder-in-win-10-evaluation-copy/84bb703c-fe66-4c38-9975-786da970b838?page=2&auth=1)

Scan to folder works with the following settings.

Your network connection type has to be set to Private.
The advanced sharing settings have to be set to: network discovery "on", file and printer sharing "on",
public files can be seen by all on network "on" and
turn off password protected sharing (Ricoh machines only send the login info once, not at every level.)

The folder properties must be set to: ready to archive (advanced button on the general tab,)
advanced sharing permissions to allow everyone full control.

I hope this helps. Ian

Still no luck with MPC2500's though.
