Went out on a Bizhub C353 that kept giving 3201 errors ( fuser drive motor error) I pulled out the fuser and it turned easily. I even turned the motor gear by hand. Has there been an issue with these motor going out? Also it has recently given 2253 (color pc motor failure to turn) and 5102 ( transfer belt motor failure) errors. However almost all of the errors were 3201 errors. The one thing they have in common is that the three motors connect to the Printer control board. Has anyone seen this before. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

If the page count on that machine is high enough then a bad motor is not uncommon.
Each motor works of a separate driver IC. If there is a problem linking all the motors it would rather be the power supply. The error codes on those motors are reliable, to say that it normally would be something locking the drive that would cause the problem.

When I first got this problem I changed the transfer belt and it worked for a day. Then the next day the error came back and I ended up changing the motor and that did it.

Thanks for the input. I quoted the customer for the motor. Waiting to hear back from them. Will keep everyone updated if the motor fixes the error.
