OK, here once again since the panel doesn't like "print" in the header; sigh........

BH-C-280, partial fuzzy print.

Customer has send me by e-mail a cut out of a A3 size print. Holding the sheet landscape there is a fuzzy part near the trailing edge. Only the last 5 cm or so are transferred properly. I have not seen the machine myself yet and am not sure if the fuzziness starts only in the region of the trailing edge or if this happens also before. Looks to me like a transfer issue and I also don't know yet if this happens already during the 1st transfer or only at the 2nd transfer.

Any ideas or hints where to start to look Monday morning when I go there?

Difficult to tell much from that sample, but i'd start by checking the consumable life counter, ITB, IU's etc.

My money would be on the ITB or xfer roller

Clearly you've got image compression, and just about at the distance when it hits the fuser. The paper stalled in it's progress through the machine. I would look at fuser drive or registration drive. Maybe a clutch, maybe gears, maybe a coupler. =^..^+
