Hello ..today we have ..Brother MFC-J5910DW ..if we started this printers it have this error message by french longuage: Initial . Imposs .48
please anyone have any idea to solve this problems ?

Carriage flat cables or head flexible cable halfway inserted.


Unable to Init. 48 LCD
Step Cause Solution


1 Connection failure of the carriage
flat cables or head flexible cable
Check the connection and reconnect the
corresponding cable(s).


2 Print head defective Replace the head/carriage unit.


3 Main PCB defective Replace the main PCB ASSY.

The encoder strip needs to be cleaned with a lint free cloth. If the encoder strip gets dirty, many different problems can occur.


Initially thought this was a cheezeball inkjet and just go buy another one, but the specs for this unit is impressive, printing 11x17 with duplex and supports quite a few protocols ect.
