C5501 not seeing adf

I got a pro c5501 that isnt seeing the adf
Any suggestions?

How did you end up here? C-8001 indicates that your link between DF and the machine is broken... You might have a broken PRCB or DF board might be defected.

I was encouraging this member to attempt to think for himself. It's a valuable skill. Someday he may need to do that if he becomes a technician.

Just tossing out solutions teaches him nothing, and he has no incentive to go through the steps to solve it himself. =^..^=
