Have anyone installed a 1TB hard drive in a IC-414? I can't find any smaller size HDD's in the shops.

Standard will be a 160GB SATA Disc for IC-414.
You can try a new disk below 2Tb.
Some of the drives have a jumper to reduce disk-capacity, therefore have a look at manufacturers product installation manual before shopping.
i often use larger disks for my clients but never a TB-model.
Have in mind, installation of system-Software need much more time for formating the drive.
Last hint, i get a 512 GB external USB-Drive from the store and removed the disk and inserted it into the Fiery.
Runs well.

It should work with a bigger drive, if it is smaller you might have a problem. Try it and let us know
