Hi,
I was working on a bizhub 20 because of occasional duplex jams, when I came back to the machine the next day, the IP address was set to DHCP so it pulled a new one, the sleep setting was back to default, and all the fax one touches were gone. I talked to Konica Minolta, and they think it is the battery assembly. A small battery pack that functions like a CMOS battery on a PC motherboard, which powers a memory chip to hold the settings. The battery could have been bad for a while, but when I power cycled it that could have reset some settings. They never turn it off, it just goes to sleep, so by power cycling it I could have inadvertently caused this. Just wondering if anyone else has ever dealt with this or seen this before. I know this is a re-branded brother machine, so I thought of searching under the brother model number, does anyone know the equivalent brother model number?
Thanks in advance
