I have a strange problem with the email scanners on a Bizhub C224 and a C654. The two machines are installed at two different clients in two different locations. If I configure the machines to scan using an SMTP server that does not require SSL or TLS encryption, the job completes. If they are configured to use an SMTP server that requires SSL, I get a server connect error. If I use TLS, I get a forward TX error.
I am sure that all the SMTP TX settings are correct, but still the machines refuse to send mail. The copier company I work with doesn't know what the problem is. Has anyone had a similar issue on the newer Bizhubs?
