Dead in the water, brought in to shop, checked switch ,ok, power supply fuse's (3)ok, 24V switch,ok. Installed power supply board from working machine, still dead, installed main control board from good working machine, still dead in the water, what gives, what am I missing here. Customer said machine was working fine, then went back to make copies and it was dead.

I assume when you brought it back to the office you didn't bring their power cord (if it was crushed under a filing cabinet or something you probably would have noticed this).
Does it have a 110/220v switch that can be toggled? Someone messing with you?
Take the drum and dev out, leave the door open and try and turn on? Anything caught in the fuser?

Might be easier to go the other way and put the bad machine parts into the working office machine... if you find nothing then probably a pinched wire somewhere which you would think would blow a fuse.

Take a step back and get another set of eyes on it.
Either it's something really easy you are going to kick yourself for or a real pain in the arse that you'll want to kick the machine for.

Good luck

Thanks for your suggestions, found the problem though, 1 bent pin on main board YC23, corrected and machine powered up! Had bad main board, power supply was ok. Thanks again.

At least it was a technical problem. nothing like driving 30mins on a rush call because "the machine just died" and we have a report to get out in with in the next 2 hrs.

Only to get there and find out that they already printed the rush job the day before and the reason the machine was dead is because someone turned the switch off.
