Gents

We have one of these which randomly stops fusing mid job.
Sheets come out cold & you can rub the print off easily, but no error codes show & the machine runs for ages like this. If you stop the job, pull the ADU out & close it again the machine runs & fuses correctly. Huge clumps of melted toner come out stuck to the rear of the sheets until the lower roller is clean.

A fully refurbished complete fuser unit has been fitted, upper roller, lower roller, aux roller, all lamps, all temp sensors & web. Pressure is fine & good connection is made on both connectors on the engine.

Lamps all checked for operation.

Temp has been increased to maximum & the low temp environment fuser control switched on.

Still doing it. Need to start looking at board's now I think but thought I'd ask here 1st as we have no test board's so it's going to be expensive.

Thanks in advance

Highly doubt that is cause by a board without giving some kind of code.
I would look at the fusing pressure again.

Run the machine with doors open and the covers off and stake it out.
Look to see what the motor and lamps are doing.

Is the machine on PM spec??

Lamps are working & pressure is fine.
Machine was fully serviced at the same time as the second fuser was fitted.

The biggest trouble is that it's completely random. It's done 40k before occurring & then next time it's gone minutes after I've left.
