Been noticing a few of these lately where I have to remove the fuser drive and find a plastic gear on metal shafts that squeaks when I turn it by hand.

Does KM make anything that doesn't squeak???

Has anyone else had to deal with the fuser drive squeak and are there any tips to resolve it without having to fully tear it out.

The bushings on the oil roller are the culpret. There is a kit to fix this. It's an easy fix. Try this -HHFRC754E-C754

this does not apply to the 224 series as there is no cleaning roller.

554, 654 and 754 yes, not 100% sure on 454 have not checked.

224 - 364 fusers make a knock noise when bearings inside fail, i have provided images and part numbers for this in another post.

there are many locations for squeaks in the 4 and 8 series.

I notice the 8 series black toner addition squeak is still there from the 4 series on selected machines (not lubricated from the factory, plastic on plastic) This is my most annoying if the machine is fitted with a finisher, much disassembly is required.
