[Misc] Staples are sometimes shifted in booklet-mode, FS534 with SD511

Hello to all,

bizhub C364 with FS534 + SD511 sometimes shows the following problem:

In booklet-mode the staples sometimes are shifted outside the folding position. From 20 booklets about one the staples are shifted. The magnitude of the shift is always exactly the same, 9 mm.
The fold is correct, no shift.

Any ideas?

Best is to strip off all the covers you can and try to have a look at the problem.

That's odd because the usual fault is staples in the correct place and the fold incorrect.
Either way the area to look at is the mechanism with the grippers on.
It moves up to hold the paper for stapling and then lowers for the fold.
Run it with the door open and try to see what that part is doing.

Sorry for my late reply,

I stripped the covers and tried to locate the error by precise observation, but the procedure is too fast to make a detailed error analysis.
At last I cleaned the two shafts (16) and the holder (15) and put a drop of oil on it. (see the attachment)
Then I printed 100 booklets without problems. It seemed as if the elevator was sluggish.

Until today I haven`t heard anything from the customer.
