Hi all, I've got a c6000 that's producing wavy prints on anything under 140gsm stock. Bit stumped as to what's causing it, has anyone came across this?

Humid paper?
If using regular 75gsm try setting tray 1 step thinner. Less heat in the fuser.
Also turn paper around landscape if you can see if the waves are less. Could be long vs short grain paper.

I've had a deformed roller in the FS-612 cause a wavy paper issues on this model for me. The roller had expanded causing it to overdrive into the next set of rollers creating a wavy effect. With the finisher door open, I could see it pushing the paper up into a metal guide. Part number for the roller I replaced was 14JS45111E.
Hope that helps.

The sprung loaded exit guide (can't remember it's actual name) in the fuser can cause this.
It has a coating on it that peels off over time.

Hi guys,
Fusing separation plate are you meaning? here is a picture of what its doing - it doesn't do this with heavier stock though33664

The plate does cause this, generally on lighter weight stock although I've not seen it as bad as that.
It would be worth replacing it, it only takes a couple of minutes

Will try the plate and the one way gears in the fuser gearbox, hopefully if it doesn't cure it, it will at least improve it while I figure out what the hell is causing it
