IC-402 is accessible through touch screen. However, when printing pages through panel or network, jobs 'rip', but then the server cancels the job. Ie, the job is not printed. What I have tried so far... Rebuilt IC-402 with 2.01 firmware... no fix. Went back to original 1.0. Same issue. Any other ideas? Sorry. Don't have firmware for the c450. An help greatly appreciated... thanks, John

Thanks for the quick reply... no it is not printed - the internal testpage is generated, ripped, then the fiery automatically cancels the job - ie, not printed. This can all be seen from the Fiery info screen after the print demo or configuration options selected....

are they using copytrac/authentication? if so lock the password in under accounttrack in the preferences/printing defaults.
is the print driver set correctly ie: LPR, port 515 and the print queue is set to "Print"? if you use port 9100 like an HP its unreliable.
if you see the jobs in CWS double click them and see what the error is.

If the drums or maintenance is over due the fiery will do this as well.

Thanks for you contributions... but still not working. The copier manual copies fine, it also prints using internal server (not Fiery). Jobs show up in CWS, but are automatically 'cancelled'... any ideas? thanks,

John

I played around with a few extra settings - and now the problem has been fixed. Yes - it was some form of account track issue - I changed the authentications settings on the copier to external server, then was able to print with guest print settings... Thanks so much for all your help. John
