BH-363 with FK-508, giving C-B116 from time to time. I have posted this problem previously in another thread but the issue came buried under off-topic postings, that's why here again:
The original machine was showing in our workshop during rebuilding the C-B116 error from time to time and had to be replaced with another one which came from a wholesaler already with the FK-508 installed. We took the peripherals from the 1st. machine which are the DF-621 and the PC-208.
The 2nd machine was doing first well in our workshop during rebuilding and testing and went with the customer where it unfortunately developed the same error. The machine sits for hours quietly, without fax traffic nor any other activity and than suddenly C-B116 pops up asking for restarting with the main power switch. Than everything is well again for a longer period.
So, the 2nd machine + FK-508 are different and the only thing in common, besides the ADF and Cassette, is that both machines had/have the fax option hooked up to different types of PBX telephone systems from the same manufacturer in our workshop and coincidentally also at customers location. They are different but are coming from the same manufacturer.
Rumor goes that there is a special firmware available for these situations.
