Got a new machine throwing these errors every morning, I note that its relating to an ASIC on the mfp board involved with scanning among other things. (mfp board is new, made no difference)

What I stumbled across today is that one of the CCD clamp values is off the scale & absolutely stupid.

The machine is locking up very intermittently when making copies, can print all day long without a hitch.

Going to try a CCD unit on monday.

There are no S- code warnings or I would of looked here first and saved my self the effort of changing the mfp board!

Anyone had this ?

Not only FD00 errors it has had just as many slider over run errors too.

all values are around ~1000 at your pic, shure this is stupid compared to other machines?

Looks a bit odd at first since the numbers are baked together^^

I think I'll try the CCD anyway, I've pretty much got nothing else left to change.

inside scanner: pwb-id, stepper motor and home position PS replaced
inside machine: mfp, ram, DSIPB, interconnecting flat cable replaced

nothing has made any difference,

Machine is likely to be scrapped and the customer given another new one.

Not sure if it is related but seen a post somewhere about pinched cable.
