hi guys i had this message i installed a new printer/scanner sd card original.with known that machine worked before without that function. is upgrade is a clue.

Did you install the entire Printer/Scanner kit or just the SD card and the key tops. Printer/Scanner requires the installation of additional memory that is included in the kit.

additional dimm already placed in sluts. 2 ram already exist .just sd card

Printer/Scanner requires 2 128MB DIMM and 1 256MB DIMM in addition to the memory already existing on the machine.

today i upgrade firmware and the same issue still appeared .i swapped sd from another machine. the message gone .but printer and scanner application not appeared .i did 5985 and all being correct. what's the point . all dimm ram 256 and 2 ram 128 in mother board.:confused:

Does the SD card have a "lock" on it, I haven't had to install one but just curious if it is in locked position if that would matter.

Is that the total RAM on the board or just those added for the Printer/scanner function. When you added the RAM did yu do so as shown in the service manual? The added memory has to go in specific locations as shown in the service manual.
