on the old 3340 you used to be able to restrict the amount of copies possible, i.e. no more than 99 or 999, we've got a C227 going in with a fax to replace a c220, on the c220 quite often the operator would enter the fax number in as the amount of copies, and walk away with their original, the machine would only stop when the trays had run out of paper, so the customer has asked if i can set it, so they can't enter more than 99 on the copy function....anyone done this in the current range...
Cheers

well if they are trying to enter a fax # they cant possibly be entering the whole # in the copy screen..... so they are complete idiots. it cant be that they are that stupid to realize they have not selected the fax/scan tab. if they do that on the 227 if will start making copies. surely they know its not faxing.

Unfortunately, the operators are that stupid :D, i know...comparing a 3340 to a C227, :o it was the last time I could remember having to restrict the usage :)
Thanks emujo...will give that a try :)
