The video card on my KM Fiery is not being recognized. A new card is on the way but will take a bit of time.

I see a USB port and a parallel port on the KM6500 machine. Can anyone please let me know if I can print through any of these ports directly (without fiery) and how can I install the drivers.

Thank you for the help rendered in advance

Sadly no.
There are no print capabilities on the c6500 without a fiery or the shity IC60x KM controller
Those ports are not for printing.
Sorry for the bad news.

The video card on my KM Fiery is not being recognized.

Are you sure that you've got broken video interface in your Fiery?

In case of IC-408 controller, when Windows cannot detect vx500 device (video interface) it's 95% broken mainboard - particulary broken solder joints in 6300ESB south bridge chip.

Yes ! I have made sure of that.. tested the video card on another fiery... does not detect there too. I have the IC 303 fiery system.
